Overview
Essen, a vibrant business hub, is home to major DAX corporations and a variety of large and medium-sized companies. FOM University has its origins in Essen, where in 1994, the first cohort of students began their academic studies while working. The university maintains strong connections with local companies and their associations. Most of the university's courses across different disciplines are available at the Essen University Center, which is situated in the centrally located training and lecture hall center on Herkulesstrasse. This venue also houses the student advisory service as well as management and study administration offices.
